I pray thee let me and my fellow have a haire of the dog that bit us last night.

The Grape Expectations staff is proud to open up two excellent European ales this Saturday, May 10th for your drinking pleasure.  Both are big sellers here, but for those that haven't had a chance to try them yet, now's your chance!

The first beer we will be tasting is Tetley's English Ale-

An export strength beer brewed specifically for countries outside the UK. It has the same smooth and creamy characteristics as Tetley's Smoothflow and incorporates a full drinking flavour. It is well balanced with a complex range of malty and hoppy notes, enhanced by a fruity aroma. Like Tetley's Smoothflow, it is served at 8C to give extra refreshment.

Tetley's English Ale has won the American Tasting Institutes prestigious 2000 Gold Medal Taste Award in the Pub Draught Ale category. This award represents international recognition of Tetley's impressing beer drinkers worldwide and is testimony to Tetley's belief that quality pays'. Tetley's won the award ahead of all other major international pub draught ale brands.

Next up, McEwan's Scotch Ale straight from Scotland-

Taste and Appearance: McEwan's Scotch Ale uses twice as much raw materials as most other well-known ales to achieve its distinctive barley malt aroma and smooth aftertaste. With its tawny, reddish-brown color, McEwan's Scotch makes no attempt to disguise its robust fortitude.

Style: Scotch Ale
ABV: 8.0%
Established: 1856
Brewery: Fountainbridge Brewery, Edinburgh, Scotland

The above ales will be 10% off per 6-pack or four-pack during the tasting hours of 12-4PM, this Saturday, May 10th.  These are exceptional beers and you shouldn't pass them up!  You won't have many chances to try these for free!

We also just received the Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA available for the first time in 6-packs!   This is a special order item for now, so come and get some while you can!

Hope to see you Saturday!
